Mango
I love everything mango! From mango sorbet to mango in smoothies, it's a delicious fruit that I can't get enough of. If you want to freeze mangoes for later, here's how to do it:
Preparation
Start by peeling the mango, removing the large stone, and slicing it.
Packaging
You can pack the sliced mango in cubes or slices, or pack it in a medium syrup in a rigid container. To make the syrup, add 15 ml of lemon juice to a litre of syrup.
Make sure that your containers are properly labeled and dated.
Thawing
To thaw the mango, just leave it in the container at room temperature for about 1 1/2 hours. Alternatively, you can use the frozen mango directly in smoothies.
