Meal Prep Shopping
Let’s Shop!
Once you’ve decided what you’ll meal prep, write your shopping list and make a plan for prepping. Include all the tasks you plan to accomplish.
First of all, you need to have a list of your ingredients. What do you need to make your recipes? What do you already have in stock? What do you need to go and purchase?
You may find when you are out shopping you come across buy one get one free deal on fruit and vegetables. Purchase the extra and know that you can use the information on our website to freeze what you won’t need! This means you will have it in stock in your freezer for the next meal prep, and you will save money on your shopping!
It is useful to make a plan for prepping. I like to include all the tasks that I plan to accomplish during the meal prep session. It keeps me focused, and I find I achieve the tasks quicker this way.
The best time for meal prep for me is as soon as I return from grocery shopping. Instead of putting the ingredients away and forgetting about them, I get them ready to be eaten. You may find it easier to start the meal prep in the evening once the children are in bed.
Why not put your favourite music or an old movie on in the background whilst you meal prep?
I hope you have enjoyed this information.
Until next time,
