Apple Cherry Smoothie
Apple Cherry Smoothie is one of my favourites. Cherries have always been my favourite fruit and in a house where I’m surrounded by boys I love how pink it is! If you want to save some time or incorporate this into your meal-planning, then pre-pack your smoothies for the week in individual freezer bags. Prepare them at the weekend and pack and label the ingredients into a freezer bag for each morning of the week. Label if necessary. Simply take the bag out of the freezer and add coconut water from the fridge before blending ready for a terrific morning ahead.
Ingredients:
1 apple
Handful of cherries
Coconut water (amount dependent on consistency that you enjoy)
Method:
Dice the apple and chop the cherries and remove the pip.
Put into a blender with coconut water and blend until you reach the consistency that you like.
Additional Notes:
I find this sweet enough as it is but if you require it to be sweeter than add a bit of honey.
Not a fan of coconut water? Add water or almond milk.
